INTERNATIONAL PEER CRISIS LINE & PEER MENTAL HEALTH ADVOCATES (PMHAs)
Our core idea is simple: people who have lived experience with mental illness can offer a specific, unique, culturally and socially relevant, and accessible type of mental health care-- known as peer support.
community education & speaking
A major goal for Project LETS is to democratize medical knowledge. We love sharing history, information, resources, and ideas; and have a wide variety of offerings for our community.
All workshops and speaking engagements are offered on a sliding-scale basis. No one will be turned away for lack of funds, and we will work together with your community to decide on a budget that works for everyone.
HIGH SCHOOL & college chapters
Project LETS Chapters are a network of students on college and university campuses that exist to embody the mission, vision, and goals of Project LETS. Through: organized meetings; activities, discussions, panels and workshops led by students with lived experience; advocacy efforts and political change; and peer counseling programs - each chapter serves as a voice of resistance, hope, and support for students and their surrounding communities.
MENTAL HEALING FUND
Project LETS is committed to financially supporting the most directly affected folks when it comes to mental health -- queer and trans people of color. Our Mental Healing Fund is open specifically to QTPOC in need of financial support for mental health care.
We also operate Mental Healing Microgrants (between $20-$50), open to folks of any identity, for anything that contributes to health and healing!
