"I suffer from panic attacks and severe agoraphobic anxiety, I have been medicated for over two years. At my lowest point, my anxiety and attacks prevented me from traveling to work, maintaining friendships and my long term romantic relationship, as well as, maintaining healthy relationships within my family. Still struggling with some small issues but generally in recovery thanks to medication, a great therapist, a newfound emphasis on mental health and well-being, and a great network of supportive friends. I struggled with anxiety, depression and panic for most of my life but was never able to gather the resources and the strength to seek help. Therefore, I want to channel what I've learned and what's helped me into helping others with the same types of issues."
"As a first generation college student at Brown University, I was thrown into a situation I was completely unprepared for. I wish someone had to told me it's okay to feel overwhelmed and that there are resources available to help with that. I felt in over my head academically, socially, financially, and emotionally. My panic disorder worsened significantly while I was in college."
